...for real this time. Man, looking back at my previous posts I've promised myself to lose weight for over a year now and I've done nothing but gain. On the Biggest Loser, they always say that there is something deeper to your weight gain. I think I believe that, but I don't know what it is in my case. All I know is that I'm not happy. I think everyone around me can see that. With the New Year quickly approaching MY NEW YEARS RESOLUTION is to LOSE WEIGHT. It has to be for real this time. I want to be happy and active again. I want to be a better wife and mother. I want to look good for my husband. I want to feel good and be confident and have no worries when I go out in public.
I've set my goal and official start date for 2 Jan. We have a big family get together on 1 Jan and there will be TONS of temptations there, I know. I don't want to disappoint myself right from the get-go. My biggest temptation is definitely carbonated beverages. Like I've said before I can't stand water....it has no flavor. That's where I get most of my calories though. I'll have soda for breakfast and no food. Then I'm starving by lunch so I eat a lot and wash it all down with a TALL glass of.....pop. IT's disgusting when I think about it. I've never really thought of it to be addicting but, obviously, it is. I"m slowly learning all of the harmful effects it has on me, and anyone really, as well. Just ask my husband....well don't cuz he'll probably tell you and that's a Switzerland secret! Shhhhh!
Now just to find the time for my workouts! It's tough with 2 needy little girls and a very busy husband with a quickly approaching thesis due date. If there is anyone out there that would be up for watching these 2 needy little girls for a couple hours a couple times a week I could definitely use your service! I'll still have soccer on Monday and Thursday nights and basketball Friday mornings. I feel so sorry for those on my soccer team...I'm soooo out of shape. I hope I don't blow it for ya'll.
I'd like to get up early and make use of our treadmill as well (I'll have to start going to bed earlier so I can actually get up!)Gym...maybe in early afternoon or late evening. Meals will be tough as well....my girls and my husband aren't big on veggies. I'll probably have to fix them something that will tempt me while I munch on a salad or something. I don't know, it's going to be trying that's for sure. It has to be done this time though. No if's, and's or but's about it!
Have you ever had someone ask you if you were pregnant and you really weren't? Well, I have on several occasions. It really makes me want to cry and slap (maybe punch) those people for being so intruding. YEah, I'm fat and I know it. I also do look pregnant b/c of all of the scar tissue build up from my c-section(S) that cause a "muffin top" look and then with my massively split abdomens from my first baby and all of my organs protruding out.........it makes me look extra fat/pregnant. IT sucks and b/c of that it will be extra work. More than likely a lot of work that won't show actual results for quite a while, which I think is why I tend to give up so early all the time. Although I might start to lose weight it's not showing anywhere and it's soooo frustrating.
Well, this is turning into a book. I just wanted to get this down so it will help motivate me to press on an get the "job" done. My GOAL is to lose 20 pounds before we move. YEah, that's a lot to do in 3 months. I'll getter done :)
Ultimate goal: LOSE 50 lbs by October for my bro's wedding and another baby Huber?????
Wish me luck!!

Week 3, or is it 4?
I've already lost track......but I think it's week 3. Last weekend was a bummer and I was really feeling it during the beginning of the week. Everything bad that I ate was just weighing me down and I had hardly any energy. I went down one morning to run on the treadmill and it wasn't hooked up anymore......the cord isn't long enough so we need an extension cords due to the lack of outlets down there. I didn't feel like digging one up or moving the treadmill so I didn't run. Then I was really dizzy for 2 days and then the sickness that Allie had hit me hard. Luckily that only lasted 24 hours (it is still looking to have some affect on her......she's just laying around and seems to have no energy). Anyway, so I had gained over Easter weekend and I'm back to what I was before that so it's, again, a total loss of 6 pounds.

Frustrated
I was doing so good! I weighed myself Friday morning and I was down another 3 lbs for a total loss of 6 so far..........then Easter weekend comes along and I'm surrounded by tons of good food and drink. I was horrible -donuts for breakfast, nachos at the bowling alley, tons of sweets and pop on Easter.....now that 6 lbs is back on. I'm so frustrated and upset with myself. I should have known that this would happen with the recent episode on the Biggest Loser. If I don't stop eating that stuff it's never going to come off. I just don't get it.........I used to be skinny and eat whatever I wanted and never gained a pound and now it packs on sooooo quickly. I just need to figure this out and get my mind set to do this right. So Frustrating!!

Just Pondering
I've been trying to figure out how I lost those 3 lbs in the 2 weeks when I wasn't working out. Yeah, I was eating better and that could have contributed. But I also noticed today that I weighed more this morning after I firt woke up than when I weighed myself after lunch???? So......here's what I'm thinking: It's all about the BREAKFAST!! You always here that breakfast is the most important meal and I'm really starting to believe it. I usually NEVER eat breakfast. I just usually never feel like eating and breakfast foods aren't that appealing to me. While we were in Idaho I ate breakfast everyday. I don't know if it was the time change or if it was just because I was eating less at night (probably both) but I was always hungry in the morning and I was up for just about anything. It probably helped that my mother in law was there to cook for me and there was a plethera of cereal to choose from! But anyway, I have noticed that if I eat less at night that I am hungry in the morning and it helps me with eating my breakfast.....which hopefully will help my metabolism!
Update on everything: I'm still at the same weight, but it's only been a few days. The family went on a 4 1/2 mile bike ride on Saturday so I got some fun exercise in. The girls loved it! It was windy though so now the girls have runny noses and I have a scratchy throat. We also went on a walk on Sunday.
That's it for now!

IT'S BEEN AWHILE.....
....Since my last post.....or workout. With summer quickly approaching and little or no progress since Novemeber I've decided to put things into high gear. We bought a treadmill the day before we left for Idaho. It's finally made it's place in the basement and is set up and ready to go. I plan to have daily runs on it..unfortunately I haven't done it yet. Today I officially started by going to the church gym with a couple other gals in the ward and we played basketball. I am sooo out of shape, but it was so much fun. I just got the regular color back to my face and it has been 3 hours since I played! I have been trying to watch my portions (which is hard if something is REALLY good) and just eating healthier in general. In the past 2 weeks I've lost 3 pounds......without any workouts. Hopefully they will start falling off quicker now. I know I won't be anywhere near where I would like to be by summer, but better late than never.
