So, I still am not "seeing" any changes BUT the numbers don't lie! I had to post this great news. I just weighed and measured myself and I've LOST 7 pounds and 3 1/2 inches around the waist!!!!! I couldn't be more excited and proud of myself. Last week was rough too with lots of stress and therefore some binge eating/drinking....so that's why I'm ultra excited.
I think I need to start taking some pictures of myself so I can see these little changes and not get so frustrated that nothing is happening, when it actually is!

Progress
Just a quick update. I've continued to workout everyday. Not as much as I planned. I've done the 30 day Shred the past two days. Yesterday I kept thinking "when is this going to end?" It really exhausted me. Today went by quick though. It's crazy how quickly your body can condition itself.
No shakes today! Didn't get the blender washed.......it was a bad day too because I had a lot to get done so I never got around to eating breakfast and was starving by the time lunch came around. So.....I just stopped at Chipotle for a burrito bowl. Definitely not the healthiest. Dinner was good though.....broiled teriyaki chicken, rice and steamed veggies.
Yesterday I did amazing on my food. Protein shake for breakfast and dinner.....chicken salad sandwich w/ baby spinach for lunch.....grapes and carrots for snacks.
| Ingredients of the shake. It tastes so much better now that I do 1 scoop protein mix and 1 scoop of the HerbaLife plus the banana! |

Love/Hate
I have a love/hate relationship with excercising. I hate doing it, but I always feel so much better afterwards which makes me love it. Well, maybe not love it but like it anyway. Once I get off track or don't work out for a couple of days then it takes me a while to get back in the groove. That's exactly what recently happened.
So, I was doing the bootcamp. Like I said before it was a good workout....made me sweat like crazy. The long drive started getting to me, plus the fact that it was suppose to be a 45 minute workout and they started turning into 30 minute workouts. What I'm trying to say is the last week I decided not to go :( I don't want to say that I gave up because I wasn't seeing any results (although in the back of my mind I wonder if that was it). Really though I think it was the drive and I now knew what I needed to do to work up that sweat so I thought I could do it on my own.
When Monday rolled around I put a circuit together and did it for 45 minutes. I was sweating just as much as I had at the boot camp! Success! Wednesday came upon us and I skipped out BUT we went on a 4-5 mile bike ride. Next is where I go downhill.....Thursday was my birthday and I got all of these birthday coupons for free meals or discounted meals in my emails. I don't like to cook so these were great! I took advantage of as many as I could which wasn't helping my waist! We got so busy in Derek's extracuricular activities and on projects around the house that I never made time for my workouts.
I measured myself last night and I was up an inch and a half on my waist, arms and legs! I was mortified! I went straight upstairs to the treadmill and knocked out a 20 minute run and about 10 minutes of strengthing exercises. I didn't want to do it at all, but was so glad that I did because I felt so much better. Almost immediately afterwards I had that energy that I'd been missing back. I feel a lot better this morning too. I remeasured myself and I was now 2 inches smaller than my orignial measurements in my waist and just 1/2 inch bigger in my arms and legs. Hopefully I was just bloated last night (I seem to always be) and then hopefully being bigger in my arms and legs is just muscle.
My plan for the next month is to get up every morning and go on a walk with the girls and then come back and do ab excercises (Mummy Tummy) and Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred workout. Then in the evenings I'll run/walk on the treadmill for an hour and do some strenghing/toning exercises. It's a lot, but it needs to be done if I ever want to see results. Hopefully I don't get burnt out by all of that.
As far as meals go, I think I'll try a meal replacement shake for breakfast and dinner and then have a big, healthy lunch with a couple healthy snacks in between.............probably not the best decison to do 2 meal replacement shakes a day.......if I start to feel really hungry I'll change it to one. It will only be for a month.
As I raise my *yummy* shake, I make a toast to a good month!

Boot Camp
4 months later.........
I've finally found some motivation, probably because I'm at my heaviest ever and my brother is getting married in less than 2 months. I'm in the wedding and don't want to look super big. We're itching for another addition to the family, but like I've said before, I've got to get my act together and take care of myself before I have to take care of a little one growing inside of me as well.
So, we're in San Antonio now. I signed up to receive the daily "GROUPON" deal in my inbox everyday. One day it was for a boot camp with "getsexysanantonio". This would include a workout session with Jonathan for 4 weeks (3 days a week). If more than 1,000 groupons were purchased then he said he'd throw in some "free" gifts. Well, that happened and the free gifts were meal plans catered towards either men or women with recipes and just some other epamphlets for ideas on helping to lose weight.
I was sooo nervous on that first day! There were only about 6 or 7 of us there, but he's super nice. The workouts are basically circuit/interval training geared. No machines or anything, but you're constantly moving between doing something cardio to working different parts of your body.
I've gone 4 times now and I feel so much better. I hurt really bad the day after that first workout, but it was a good hurt because I knew that meant that I had done something. The first week was really hard just to get everything done. Yesterday was different. I felt like I was starting to get back into shape.
I don't know that I've really lost anything yet. I'm still having a hard time sticking to the meal plan and keeping away from my addiction. I do feel so much better though and don't sleep as much.
The class I go to doesn't start until 7:30 so that's a bit of a problem for dinner. I don't want to eat before b/c I know I'll be weighted down and not work as hard. So I don't eat until I get home, which is around 8:45 or 9:00pm.....and really that is too late to be eating. That's what I have to do for now though until the classes are over and I find something else to do for my workouts.
He took my measurements that first day. I didn't see what they were. I'll probably just have Derek remeasure me tonight so at the end of the month I can see how much I've lost both by pounds and inches.
Things are lookin' up!

Blah
I haven't posted in a while because there's really nothing to post. I've gained about 5 pounds. I am under a lot of stress - still trying to find a house - well we found one but we don't know if it's THE one. We've still got a lot of packing to do and we're having a garage sale this weekend that we are trying to prepare for. We're (Derek and I) going to be in Texas all week next week looking at other homes - but more than likely we'll be signing a contract on the current house we have and then hopefully fixing it up and painting it so that will all be done when we move in on May 1st!
Anyway, I finally noticed the weight gain and my lack of excercising and eating right sooooo I picked it up again yesterday. I just walked on the treadmill, nothing big. I've been feeling really fatigued the past couple of weeks. Hopefully it's just from the stress and not eating right, lack of excercise etc and not something more serious. Yesterday I had absolutely no energy at all. Plus I had a migraine, which is unusual for me. My sweet daughter massaged my face and that helped a lot.....and I finally gave in and took some asprin in the evening.....I should have done that sooner!! It was such a relief.
This morning I woke up feeling pretty good. My sister in law and I went on a quick walk during a pause in the rain.....I hope to get back on the treadmill tonight as well as a few other excercises!

Will This Be It?
Okay, so I don't know what it is exactly but I feel like I'm not sleeping as much and I'm just having more energy lately so I'm feeling motivated! I've said it plenty of times before but I'm crossing my fingers that this will actually be it (I know, I know it's all up to me). Like I said before I'm just not happy. I've been told it's a choice and I believe that, but I would also kind of feel like I was being fake if I don't really feel that way. Anyway a big factor for me not being happy is just not loving myself. I won't go in to the other reasons, but I know that all of it has been taking a toll on me and I bottle everything up and then wham! I slowly start taking my unhappiness out on others, which isn't fair... at all.
I said it two months ago...and obviously nothing has happened.....but I'm ready for the CHanGe! It won't happen overnight and I realize that it's going to be a LOT of work, but I'm ready to put ME first! yay!!! Don't get me wrong, I'll do anything for my kids so I'll have to get up extra early to go down on the treadmill. Maybe drag them along to the gym. Give up some tv shows to work out some more. It's all about sacrafice.
My goal is still the same. I want to be at 125-130 by October. If I work hard enough I think it will be possible. Unfortunatly, I don't know if it's possible for my stomach to look any different by then (maybe a little). It's torn so bad. I kind of want to just go ahead and have another baby so I can get it taken care of surgically without all of the extra costs! But, that would be silly, because I need to get my health back on track before even thinking about another baby.
WEll, a HUGE thanks to my family for all of the unbelievable support!! Crystal, It's time to show our competitiveness! On your mark, get set, go!!!
